My name is Yang Bai. I am a Chinese international student.

I began to love motorcycle since I study aboard. My first bike is 2013  Kawasaki zx6r. I love my bike so much. It brings so much fun to me.

My Bike

The first time I saw this bike is August 29 2013. I know nothing about it, but it is just cool. After I got home, I ask my friend two questions. The first one is "Do you trust me?", the second one is"I want to borrow ten thousand dollars". I went to the store next day and take the bike home. That is how I get my bike.

I asked my friend to ride home because I have no idea how to ride a motorcycle. I try by myself to ride it after they told me the basic function to ride it.

Risks

Unfortunately media portrays our niche group as an evil, dangerous lifestyle, catering to those fear-mongers who attend a NASCAR race just to watch a wreck. The general media muckrakes the scary side of motorcycles in an effort for ratings. Skewed statistics and media paint a scary picture of motorcyclists and blur the actual risks involved.

Motorcycle death and accident statistics don’t show inexperience or careless action. According to 2008 CDC statistics, almost a third of rider deaths involved drinking. Riding a motorcycle makes you alert and uses all of you. You feel the elements, shift your body to steer, your eyes scan the road ahead, and all of your limbs are used for controls. You can’t put it on cruise and lean the seat back, riding takes all of your attention. So, even a couple drinks can really impair your riding.

After I bought the bike, I have no idea how to ride it. My friends tell me how to start, throttle, brake and clutch, after they left my apartment, I were trying to ride it by meself. And I succeed. I went to my friends apartment and try to show off how good I am, but I forgot that my bike without insurance and I did not have the helmet.  

Crash 

October 13 2013  •  Crazy Speed

I ride the bike with my DR team which called "Dream Riders" from 30th ave went south. We saw a straight road after hundred curves. Everyone one was excited and speed up.I did not see there was a curve at the end of the road. So i crashed at 250 mph. Because this accident, I knew my girl and she taken care of me since that.

Can't Wait To Ride

Today I ride my bike because today is sunshine. I can not wait to summer and ride my bike all day.
